This is a continuation of the other day’s blog “How to make a tie-dye T-shirt (tie-dye)”. I have sewed and tied the front main panel of the T-shirt by the last time, so this time I will introduce the process of indigo dyeing. I dyed it using indigo leaves harvested last summer. It was dried and stored. The front main panel was beautifully dyed.
How to make a tie-dye T-shirt with indigo
↓ This is tied front main panel.
I boiled the dried indigo leaves to make the dye.
Put cloth in dye. It is yellow at first.
When this is taken out of the dye, it gradually changes from yellow to indigo blue.
Repeat this process to deepen the indigo blue.
Finally unwind the sewing thread.
Next time, I will sew them together to make a T-shirt. Please look forward to.
