大阪歴史散歩① 難波宮 ―― Ancient Osaka

秋の休日、息子と二人で大阪城の周辺を散策してきました。この辺りには古代からの遺跡が集中していて、まさに〝大阪の歴史の舞台〟といえる場所。のんびりと一日かけて、大阪の古代から現代までの歴史を訪ねる散歩となりました。そこで、今回から数回にわけて、大阪の歴史について書こうと思います。まずは古代の大阪です。

I’ve been walking around the Osaka Castle with son at autumn holiday. The ruins from ancient times are scattered in this area. So, I’m going to write about history of Osaka a few times in my blog from this time. First of all, I will write about the ancient Osaka.

難波宮跡（難波宮跡公園）大極殿基壇。
About 1350 years ago, there was palace for Emperor in Osaka.
This is the palace ruins.

かつて、ここにはこのような宮殿があったそうです。
This scale model is palace of those days.

宮殿のなかの女官たちです。
It is ladies-in-waiting of the imperial court.

　

そして文官もいます。
And, it is the higher official.

実は、この文官は〝僕〟なんです！
Actually, this higher official is me.

実は、この日、大阪歴史博物館で、当時の儀礼服を着せてくれるイベントが行われていました。こういう体験イベントでよくある〝ボタンとファスナーでハイっ!! 〟って感じのものではなく、ここでは着物をちゃんと着重ねた本格的なものでした。こうした本格的な着付けは結婚式以来（もう随分と昔です）。とても、貴重な体験でした。

When I visited the Osaka Museum of History, there was a small event that we can wear costume of those days. We were able to wear Imperial court garment as it was at that time. It was a valuable experience for me. (By the way, this is quite different from the current kimono.)

ちなみに、息子は恥ずかしがって着ようとはせず（まぁ、お年ごろですから…）、はりきってきる父ちゃんを冷ややかに眺めていました。

Next time I’m going to write about the early modern period of Osaka. You now have something to look forward to.
