染井吉野が散り、八重の桜が満開を迎えています。近所にある八重桜は、一本の木に三色の花を咲かせます。赤、ピンク、白――。そういう品種なのか？ 咲いた順番なのか？ それとも接ぎ木なのか？ とても不思議です。
