自分の染織作品に合うカバンやバッグのハンドル（持ち手）がないので作ってみました。厚さ5.5mmのMDFをレーザー加工機で彫刻したものです。実は以前から作ってみたいと思っていましたが、強度は大丈夫だろうか？ 塗装はどうするの？ などと考えてしまい、試作するだけに時間がかかってしまいました。でも、こうしてできてみると、とてもしっかりしていて、重さや手触りもちょうどいい！ もう少し改良を加えて、これも“ひとつ屋のアイテム”にしたいです。楽しみにしていてください！
When I thought about making a bag, I couldn’t find a handle that would suit the fabric I dyed, so I made it. This was made by engraving a 5.5mm thick MDF with a laser machine. Actually, I’ve always wanted to make this. But is the strength okay? How do you paint? I think that. And it took time to make a prototype.
