Once again this year, a beautiful water lily has bloomed in the water-lily basin by our entrance.
It may seem to bloom the same way every year, yet the expression of the flower changes little by little with each summer’s heat and weather. Even in the middle of busy days, seeing this flower brings me a brief moment of calm.
Summer Greetings — With the Colors of Plants
At the workshop, despite the heat, we are busy with natural dyeing, hand weaving, and making yarn. Summer is a demanding season, but it is also the time of year when the colors of plants feel at their most powerful.
From our workshop in the middle of summer, we send you our summer greetings again this year. As the water lily gives us a brief moment of calm, we continue spending our days with the colors of plants.
