Hitotsuya restored an old kamado stove and began dyeing yarn and cloth with bamboo and wood produced through local woodland maintenance.
Coffee grounds dyeing turns a daily cup into colour for cloth, then returns the spent material to Hitotsuya’s textile farm through rice-bran fermentation.
