染織にかかわる植物ばかりを栽培している ひとつ屋の染料農園。さまざまな染織植物を栽培しているのですが、なかでも毎年収穫を楽しみにしているのが「苧麻（カラムシ）」です。苧麻は麻の一種で、古くから布が織られてきました。
ひとつ屋染料農園で栽培してから数年にもなりますが、いまだに納得できる糸になったことはありません。
今年も元気に芽を出してくれました。夏には収穫できるので、今年こそは作品にします！
うまくいけば「苧麻糸づくり」のワークショップも開催しますので、楽しみにしていてください！

Our farm cultivates only plants related to dyeing and weaving. We grow a variety of dyeing plants, but the one we look forward to harvesting every year is ramie. Ramie is a type of hemp that has been woven into cloth since ancient times.
It’s been several years since we’ve grown it on our farm, but we still haven’t been able to get a satisfactory yarn.
It sprouted well this year as well. I can harvest it in the summer, so I will make it a work this year!

我們的農場只種植與染織有關的植物。 我們種植了多種染色植物，但我們每年最期待收穫的是麻。 苧麻是一種自古以來就被織成布的大麻。
自從我們在農場種植它已經好幾年了，但我們仍然無法獲得令人滿意的紗線。
