秋の初めから続いた３連続のイベント。先日、そのすべてが無事に終了したのですが、若くない身は疲労困憊で「来年はもう少しゆっくりことを運ばなければ—」と反省しています。ところが、その舌の根も乾かぬ内に４月に開催される着物（和装）のイベントに出展することにしました。我ながら“懲りないヤツだなぁ～”と思います。
で、早速！出展する品の制作開始。今は茜でシルクを染めています。冬は染料の煮炊きで工房が温もり、作業が随分と楽です。草木の湯気に包まれながら、新しいアイテムづくりに挑戦しています！
We exhibited at three events that continued from the beginning of autumn. The other day, it all ended successfully. However, we were very tired, so we reflected on the schedule, saying, “Next year, we will have to take things a little more slowly.” However, we have decided to exhibit at the kimono event that will be held in April next year. We think of ourselves as “not disciplined”.
So, we immediately started producing the products to be exhibited. Now I am dyeing silk with madder. In winter, the workshop is warmed by the boiling of the dye, making the work much easier. We are trying to create new items while being enveloped in the steam of the plants!
