今、ひとつ屋の農園では藍が順調に育っています。もう１カ月もすると収穫で、藍の生葉染めができるようになります。
助剤や薬品はもちろんのこと、火も湯も使わず、ただ藍の葉と水だけで染める生葉染め。それでも染まる神秘的な色は“青”というより“碧”であり、まさに季節の色――。そのターコイズブルーにも似た色には誰もが魅了されるはずです。

シルクのストールに、さまざまな方法で絞りをした後、藍の生葉で染めます。

Indigo is growing well on our farm right now. It will be harvested in about a month, and we will be able to dye with fresh indigo leaves.
Fresh leaf dyeing is done using only indigo leaves and water, without the use of fire or hot water, let alone any auxiliary or chemicals. The mysterious blue is truly the color of the season. Everyone will be fascinated by the color, which is similar to turquoise blue.
