都会 ⇄ 山里のデュアルライフ(二拠点生活)にも少し慣れてきたので、そろそろ本格的な作品づくりに取り掛かろうと思っています。まずは型染です。以前に考えた「花蝙蝠（はなこうもり）」の図案を型紙にしました。なんとなく不気味で忌み嫌われる蝙蝠ですが、中国では「蝠」が「福」と同音ということで吉祥紋様として用いられてきました。日本でも江戸時代には当時のファッションリーダーである歌舞伎役者の影響で大流行したそうです。また沖縄（琉球）の紅型にも、蝙蝠模様が見られます。ひとつ屋ではTシャツにしようと思っています。お楽しみに！

Now I am planning traditional Japanese stencil dyeing with indigo. First, I will cut the “” design I had previously considered into a dyeing pattern. Bats are eerie and disliked, but have been used as auspicious patterns in China. It seems that the design of bats became very popular in Japan around the 18th century due to the influence of Kabuki actors who were fashion leaders at that time. We can also see bat patterns on traditional dyed products in Okinawa (Ryukyu). I will make a T-shirt with this design. Please look forward to!
