前回にも書きましたが（『グラニースクエアのブランケット【2】』）、ひとつ屋のリニューアルオープン後（今春）に“草木染め毛糸”の販売を予定しています。今回は、そんな草木染め毛糸で織っているブランケット（ひざ掛け）について紹介します。草木染といえば“シックで落ち着いた色合い”をイメージされることが多いのですが、あえて今回は“草木染らしくないビビットな色”に染めた糸で織っています。織り機も「卓上機（リジッド機）」を使って素朴な感じに織っています。つまりは天然染料でも明るく、それでいて素朴な風合いのブランケット！ 実は、お年寄りや赤ちゃんへの贈り物をイメージして作っています。もうすぐでき上がります。楽しみにしていてください！
As I wrote last time, we are planning to sell botanical dyed yarns at our shop scheduled to open this spring. This time I uploaded a blanket woven with such plant dyed yarn. Many people imagine chic and calm colors in plant dyeing. So I dare to weave a blanket with yarns dyed in a vivid colors that is not like botanical dyeing.
