セリ科の植物はウールを美しい緑に染めてくれるので、その葉が欲しくて春の初めに“ひとつ屋染料農園”でも栽培することにしました。で、植えたのが最も身近なセリ科の植物――ニンジンです。といっても、タネでも苗でもなく、スーパーで買ったニンジンです（笑） ちなみに、ニンジンそのものでは染まりません。
しばらくすると、たくさんの葉を出したのでウールを染めてみました。それからも栽培を続けていると、最近になって花を咲かせるようになりました。ニンジンの花って、こんなのなんだと驚いています！
もちろん、ニンジン葉染めの毛糸も販売予定です！お楽しみにッ！

Umbelliferae plants dye wool in a beautiful green color, so we wanted the leaves and decided to grow them in my garden at the beginning of spring. So, I planted the most familiar Umbelliferae plant-carrot. However, it’s not seeds or seedlings, it’s a carrot I bought at a supermarket (laughs).
After a while, I got a lot of leaves, so I dyed wool yarns. As I continued to cultivate it, it has recently begun to bloom. I’m surprised that carrot flowers are like this!
